The Fourth Trimester Lab Assessment
Because “just a mom” isn’t a diagnosis
You went in for your six week checkup. They checked your incision, your bleeding, your mood on a scale of one to ten, and cleared you for sex and exercise. Nobody checked your thyroid. Nobody checked your iron. Nobody checked anything, really, other than a checkbox.
So you're left doing the math on your own. Is this exhaustion normal, or is something actually wrong? Is the hair in your shower drain normal, or a sign? Is the anxiety normal, or is your body flagging a deficiency nobody bothered to look for?
Common does not mean normal. And guessing is not a plan.
The Fourth Trimester Lab Assessment gives you real data on what's actually happening in your postpartum body, plus a clear plan for what to do about it.
What you get
A 20-marker lab panel built specifically for postpartum bodies. Not a generic annual physical panel. This one looks at the systems that take the hardest hit after birth and breastfeeding: your thyroid, your iron stores, your blood sugar regulation, your inflammation levels, and your key nutrient reserves.
A 30-minute lab review appointment with me. We go through your results together, in plain language, so you actually understand what's going on in your own body instead of getting a portal message that says "all normal" while you still feel like a shell of yourself.
A personalized follow-up plan. Not a template with your name typed in. You get education specific to what showed up in your labs, a supplement protocol built around your actual numbers, and a 3-day meal plan designed to support what your body needs to rebuild.
Thinking about going further?
If your results point to something bigger than a single round of supplements and a meal plan can fix, or if you're realizing you want ongoing support to actually feel like yourself again…
Enroll in The Functional Fourth Trimester, my 12-week 1:1 program, within 14 days of your lab review appointment and get a $200 credit toward your program.
FAQ
Do I need a referral? No. This is a self-directed assessment. You order, you draw, we review.
Is this covered by insurance? The flat fee covers your labs and appointment directly, no insurance needed. If you have an FSA or HSA, check with your provider about reimbursement.
How is this different from what my OB or midwife ran? Standard postpartum labs are minimal, if they happen at all. This panel is built specifically to catch what's most commonly missed in postpartum bodies: thyroid dysfunction, iron depletion, blood sugar shifts, and inflammation, all of which get routinely dismissed as "just being a new mom."
What if my labs come back mostly normal? Then you leave with real reassurance instead of a guess, plus a plan to optimize rather than just react. And you'll still get your 3-day meal plan and general repletion guidance.
I'm still pregnant. Can I book this for after I deliver? Reach out and we'll figure out timing together.
